Intro/Letter from the Editor - Ryan Main - Sales

Well another month has passed and it's been a busy one here at Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre.  Between our 39th Annual Show and Sale at the tail end of January/beginning of February and all of the commotion that comes along with a complete renovation of the building on the hill, it hardly seemed like it was that long.

As we dive into our third monthly edition of the newsletter I would like to offer a big thank-you to Ron Vanderwees and Ernie Penner from Triple E for coming out to help with the show.  As well a hearty thanks to Nate Clark from Sprinter RV (Keystone RV) not only for coming up to help us with our show but also for his contribution to this months newsletter.  Nate's contribution will be the first of many segments that we will have contributed by our manufacturers and suppliers in the months to come.

As well I would like to extend a big thank-you to all of our friends and customers who braved to chilly weather to come out and spend time with us in the Manitoba Room of the Keystone Centre for our 39th Annual Show and Sale.  The attendance was terrific and we developed some new relationships and made some sales in the process.  Just a reminder for those who may be in the area that we have a display in the Winnipeg RV show this weekend (Feb 28-Mar 2) in the Convention Centre, so come on by and say hello.

And one further reminder that if you have any ideas, questions, comments, or events in your neck of the woods that you would like to submit for future newsletters, please email me at rmain@pikadilly.com. Until next month remember this tip, if you're of a taller stature remember to duck when exiting your RV!!

Dealership News - Don Main - General Manager

This is a very busy and exciting time at Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre. Our Annual Show and Sale at the Keystone Centre is now complete and we are getting back to normal at the office. Right after Christmas we began a fairly extensive renovation project in our parts and accessory department and showroom. All of our sales offices have been moved to the front of the showroom and we have created a new accounting office and sales manager’s office. The colours have been changed to reflect some of the new modern colours that have become quite popular. We've added some very nice slate tiles to the exterior walls of the new sales offices and the entire staff is pleased with the outcome, as I think you will be as well. Please accept my invitation to drop in and pass judgment when you are in the neighbourhood. We’re anxious to hear your comments.

See you soon,
Don Main

Sales Department News - Dave Shepherd - Sales Manager

With our 39th Annual Indoor Show and Sale now over and our renovations to the sales department nearing completion, it's time to get back to the business of selling.

We recently introduced the Cameo 5th wheels to our product line-up.  Cameo is manufactured by Carriage, Inc. and to put it simply, they are recognized as “The World’s Finest Fifth Wheels”.  Check out the F35SB3 floor plan.  It is one of their top sellers, featuring the rear living area with Fireplace and Home Theatre System with the 26” Flat Panel TV. This floor plan also features the spacious 'Side Bath Design' with the side aisle access into the bedroom.  The Expresso interior décor also includes the Ultra Leather Hide-A-Bed Sofa and Home Theatre Seating for that luxurious look.

The beginning of February brought about the 39th Annual Pik-A-Dilly RV Show.  It was a great experience for the people of Brandon and the surrounding community at no cost.  The traffic was great, and customers were able to view a lot of different products in one location, under one roof.

I travelled to Brandon to help out with the show and to support Pik-A-Dilly and their staff.   I represent the Keystone Sprinter product which showed very well at the show.   I heard many great things coming from the customers about the show and Pik-A-Dilly RV Centre in general.   There were a lot of customers I talked to that have purchased RVs from Pik-A-Dilly in the past, some of whom decided it was time to purchase their next RV during the show due to the loyalty they have to Pik-A-Dilly and the great experiences they have had.  Among the repeat customers there were a few people that hadn't done business with Pik-A-Dilly previously and enjoyed the show.  They were able to view a lot of great products, talk to the sales team, and walk away feeling good about attending the show.  When a dealership has a show, while they obviously want to do some business, they always want to make sure they make more customer-dealer relationships.  This years' Pik-A-Dilly RV Show was a big success in both regards.
